Karate is for everyone.
If you ever wanted a fun and satisfying activity that would tune your mind,
body and spirit simultaneously, look no further. Hinode Martial Arts practices a combination of sports and
traditional Shotokan style karate suited to all ages.
Purpose and objectives of Hinode Martial Arts
To promote Karate through all states of Australia.
To promote the healthy and proper practice of karate both on a local and national level.
To prevent racial, sexual, political and all others forms of discrimination amongst the practitioners of Karate.
To support, assist and co-operate with other styles and organizations to assist with the proper promotion of Karate as a sport.
To promote a local All Styles tournament to further the sport.
To encourage all students to participate in all State and National titles as well as other tournaments and to encourage their participation and spirit.
To establish standards for the grading of Students and recognition of Hinode Instructors.
To have NCAS level 1 accreditation for all senior Students.(National Coaching Accreditation Scheme introduce by the Australian Institute of Sport)

Sensei Brett Davey Nidan - Second degree black belt
Sensei Brett first discovered Karate-do in 1985 at the age of 17 and joined Hinode Martial Arts in 2003 along with both of his children. Shodan Ho was obtained in December 2007 with Shodan being obtained in June 2009, Nidan was obtained in August 2011. Sensei Brett has trained in various Shotokan styles.

Sensei Craig Spiteri Shodan Ho – Provisional First degree black belt
Sensei Craig started his journey of Karate in 2007 along with both of his children who still train today. The Blackbelt rank of Shodan Ho was obtained in August 2011.
